Giving University is for anyone who wants their generosity to change lives for the better. GivingU students aren’t defined by age, career, or background — they’re people who share a drive to give in smarter, more impactful ways. Some come with questions. Some come with doubts. Most come with a sense that “I could be doing more, but I’m not sure how.” If that’s you, you’re in the right place.
What prerequisites are required for the GivingU class?
None. You don’t need a college degree, a padded bank account, or a perfect giving track record. You just need an open mind, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to showing up. That’s all we ask.
 

There’s no tuition, no donations, no hidden strings — Giving University pays for everything, including your international travel.

Expect to be challenged. Expect to ask hard questions and hear harder truths. Expect to sit with people who don’t always believe what you believe — but who care just as much about making generosity count.
 

At GivingU, you’ll be nudged outside your comfort zone to help you walk away with a clearer sense of what generosity really means, and how to practice it without being taken advantage of.

For most people, a lot more than you can imagine. After taking the Giving University class and making a GivingU research or work trip, you’ll gain:
